I recommend swimming with a 20 foot baby whale shark at least once in your life. They’re slow and gentle and one of my new favorite animals I’ve encountered in the wild. And good news! @indtravel is giving away a trip to Indonesia and you can enter at the link below. I will also have it in my bio. #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia #tripofwonders https://trip-of-wonders.indonesia.travel

The kind of colours you dream about long after you’ve said goodbye. Photo by my talented, happy, energetic, fun friend Christian @byfieldtravel from Columbia. He was my awesome roommate throughout this trip in #wonderfulindonesia and we became instant friends. I didn’t have a drone in the trip, but thankfully he did, because the islands were gorgeous. Check out his account for his very beautiful, fun life of travel and meeting incredible people from all over the world. And a big thanks to @indtravel for putting on the #tripofwonders and introducing me to so many great new people as we explored #indonesia.

Advice for photographers. Go shoot something new. Quit doing the same things over and over and over. It gets boring and you stop growing. Go take on a project that scares you, one that forces you to think critically again like the first time you picked up a camera. It was a pleasure to shoot this project in Indonesia. Both underwater and wildlife photography are crazy difficult and I had the time of my life working on it. Shot this while playing with the stingless jellies at Kakaban Lake. Check out the location for more cool shots of these rare jellies. @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia #kakaban

They are beautiful, fleeting and happen every day, but when did you last take the time to enjoy a sunrise? @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia #komodo #sunrise

Early morning views over Komodo National Park. @indtravel #wonderfulindonesia #tripofwonders #indonesia #komodo

In 1963 a volcano 🌋 pushed a large World War 1 ship, the USAT Liberty, off the beach and into the ocean just off the coast of #Bali, #indonesia. It is now an unbelievable wreck to dive, both scuba and free dive. I could have spent a month there exploring everyday. @indtravel #wonderfulindonesia #tripofwonders

We got up well before first light to make sure we were at the peak before sunrise. I decided I didn’t want to google photos of this place before we got there. It’s always nice to be surprised at the peak, especially with a view like this. It did not disappoint. Definitely worthy of any bucket list. @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia

When you’re traveling and busy with schedules and transportation and always always always on the go, sometimes you forget how important it is to make time for play. And what a playground. @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia #sunset

Spending this time in Indonesia @indtravel, I’ve gained a new respect for underwater photography. Like all beautiful photos, there is much that goes on behind the scenes, but underwater is a whooole different story. From the additional photography equipment, to finding and approaching the animals, to the SCUBA gear, to planning and getting to the dive spots, it’s an orchestra that needs to go together just right. Any single note that doesn’t line up, any camera setting, a current, or just bad luck can mean a lost opportunity. This was a school of “Sweet Lips”, a large species that stays in tight fearless schools. You can get up right close and they aren’t bothered. Stunning subjects, and some of my favorite to shoot so far. #wonderfulindonesia #tripofwonders #indonesia

Nothing like a rainy day to make you appreciate the sunshine. After two dives earlier in the day we took a couple boats to Batu Pensil, which means “pencil rock”. It’s a group of rock formations coming sharply out of the ocean and topped with trees. Every day in Indonesia I’m seeing things I’ve never seen in my life. Have any of you been to Indonesia? Any recommendations? @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia #indonesia

The natural world never ceases to amazes me, and the ocean is is one of the most vibrant, colourful, exciting place there is. If you’ve been following my story you’ll know I’m currently exploring Indonesia from beneath the waves at some of the best scuba diving spots in the world. Every minute here has been a rich experience around every corner and I’m excited to start sharing what I’ve captured. @indtravel #tripofwonders #wonderfulindonesia
