Once a year, we source the very best summer fruits from around the world for Summer Marché, where we turn our entire pastry case into a farmers market fruit stand. This year in Soho from MON. JULY 22-SUN. How we picnic. 😎 Dessert for our Central Park picnic means some of our favorites from the Bakery’s New York Collection: the Haute Dog with raspberry cremeux and ladyfinger buns topped with passion fruit “mustard” and coconut “kraut” 🌭, the Everything Bagel & Schmear Pavlova with cheesecake mousse and sour cherry jam 🥯, and - quite fittingly - our Stroll in Central Park Acorn with hazelnut feuilletine, blackberry crème de cassis jam, and hazelnut mousse and dacquoise. 🌳
Spent the afternoon in Central Park with a picnic potluck with 30 friends of the bakery to celebrate our New York Collection. You guys brought your Big Apple favorites, from knishes and latkes, to dumplings and pork buns, Zabar’s pickles, Mediterranean spreads and dips, kimbap rolls from Ktown, home cooked tortilla Española, bagels, pizzas, mac & cheese, and yep there were @shakeshack fries too. (Plus, desserts made by us!) Isn’t that what makes living here so great? That 30 people from all walks of life can gather together on picnic blankets in the middle of Manhattan with foods that represent the entire world. Thank you! 🗽🥯🚕🍕🌭🥨
