Week 2 ✅ 
This week my (written) plan included four Burn camps, three runs, sprints, and strides. The stars aligned and it all worked out. 🙌 I also decided that I no longer want to be, “Better than I was yesterday.” Nope, instead I want to dig my roots in, do my “homework” and G R O W.

Pretty much had to force myself onto the treadmill today.  8 mile workout: 1 mi wu, 2x2.5 miles at 8 minute pace, cd to 8 miles. Definitely wasn't the prettiest workout, likely due to #girlsnightout and #allthedrinks but we had a blast so it was worth it! 😊 So happy it's Friday!!! It was a crazy busy week. Ready to relax with my mini tonight!👩‍👧

I completely made use of the clock today and it felt G R E A T!!! I had time in between patients, so I hustled home and did 4 treadmill miles before needing to shower, get ready, see another patient, and get to a rehab meeting in time... and I did it!! *Side note: I work for the best company who spoiled us for Rehab Week today!* Moral of the story- when you have goals, you MAKE the time to fit in the workouts!! Happy Wednesday!!!

Today’s run was a total fail. I was supposed to run a race pace workout and through a series of small issues adding up to be a big one, it was a total F-ing flop. It’s super hot for Wisconsin right now, I didn’t eat enough today and I don’t think I’m fully recovered from my race on Sunday. Not to mention I’m typically a morning runner. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was about a mile away from home and with my heart rate being nearly maxed for the last two miles of my run, I decided to just stop, walk home and call it a loss. I tried not to cry the whole way home. This workout was really supposed to gauge whether it’s possible to PR at my half or not. Just feeling super discouraged. With all of my pouting aside, I STILL got out there and ran. I don’t like running in heat at all and this didn’t help haha. Not every run can be phenomenal. Sometimes you just have to accept it for what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'd like to introduce you to my new friend. 😍I'm S U P E R excited to have my @rollrecovery so that I can keep my legs feeling great!! Definitely worth the investment! Today's workout, other than being a cluster f#$%, started at the track, watch wasn't giving me my splits, and I got too hot, so came home to finish on the treadmill... but.... 2 mile wu, 6x800 at 7:30ish pace (heavy emphasis on the 'ish' for me today), cd to 7.5 miles. It was broken up, but it's done. Can't all be winners, #amiright 🤣 P.S. where's fall?
