Scattered solar panels make up an array in South Harrison Township, New Jersey, USA. Solar power in New Jersey has grown significantly in the last decade, due in part to a standard which requires 22.5% of the state's electricity to come from renewable resources by 2021. As of 2018, New Jersey has the sixth-largest installed solar capacity of all U.S. states, and the largest capacity in the northeastern part of the country. /// Created by @dailyoverview, source imagery: @nearmap

: @holman_terry New Jersey really isn’t very far North. I live eight degrees north of it and solar works plenty well here.
: @threedexperience2000 my original comment was about the photo and Solar Power VS Land. I’ve witnessed a few large land tracts of solar panels in New Mexico, Arizona and California. Then a few people jumped on the band wagon about home solar power efficiency in the North. Obviously, home solar power in the North is questionable and is nowhere close to the Southwest. There are very few cloudy days here in Phoenix. Installing a home solar system has variables and some questions need to be addressed such as; home energy efficiency, solar potential and any limitations, solar power options, home electric needs, is financing available for solar in your area?, installer experience, shade trees nearby blocking solar potential, mapping performed for solar potential, age of roof and should roof be replaced before solar installation, HOA limitations, off grid or connected to the grid and more. The average break even after solar installation is 7.5 years. Probably, longer up North. After installation are the maintenance costs, such as preventative and repair. Warranties and will the product exist in 7.5 years?
: @abigailbea I knew it.
: nuclear power is the future. Se do not have a god plan for the waste after solarpanels are være upp. Also many birds are burned to death
: Let all other states follow suit
: Amazing👏👏 solar panels help us in many ways, recently I built a 3D solar panel with the help of a program, for more information about the program click on the 🔗 in my bio
: 👏👏👏👏 #Solar4SouthJersey
: Like a crazy game of dominos
: Very cool☀️
